| In 2001 Christian Heppinstall returned to the oeuvre of Gilbert and Sullivan when he directed Iolanthe for the Lyric Theatre of San Jose. He launched his opera directing career with Gilbert and Sullivan's Ruddigore or the Witch's Curse while a graduate student in theatre at Brigham Young University. |  |
